Select lockers have been fitted with alarms to target would-be thieves attempting to pry them open.
The Victoria Police Department's new bait locker program aims to reduce the incidents of theft from change rooms at Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre.
Police recommend that anyone hearing the alarm should notify recreation staff immediately, and not attempt to locate the source of the alarm.
