A woman with mobility issues whose customized bicycle was stolen earlier this month has her wheels back.
The red recumbent bike, with two back wheels, a black upright seat and elongated frame, was stolen from Our Place at 919 Pandora Ave., where it was locked to a post, Feb. 15.
The bike’s owner, a 54-year-old woman who needs it to get around because of health issues, told Victoria police a friend recovered the bike and returned it to her.
“Due to lack of evidence, police are not contemplating charges and would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance,” Sgt. Grant Hamilton said.
