The City of Victoria is introducing electronic utility billing for homeowners.
For the first thousand residents who sign up for e-billing, Scouts Canada will plant a sapling somewhere in the city on their behalf.
The trees will be purchased through a $2,000 city grant, approved by council at a committee meeting Feb. 27.
E-billing will be available at victoria.ca in May.
