A Victoria man accused in a string of historical sexual assaults has been granted bail at a hearing this morning at the Victoria Law Courts.

Henry Charles Sadd was initially arrested in Victoria in June 2017 in connection with a series of alleged sexual assaults believed to have taken place in the 1960s and 70s. The 70-year-old man has been charged with more than 23 counts of sexual assault. Sadd resided in Nakusp at the time where the incidents are believed to have taken place.

VicPD believes there may be other victims on Vancouver Island who have not yet come forward.
