A 29-year-old Victoria man is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a shooting early Thursday morning.
Officers were attending an unrelated call around 12:30 a.m. at the Royal Jubilee Hospital when the victim arrived in emergency with a gunshot wound.
The victim said he had been shot in a suite in the 2800-block of Kiwanis Way.
VicPD detectives are investigating and are searching for evidence and suspects.
Investigators do not believe that this was a random event and do not believe the public is at risk.
