Victoria MP opens new digs Monday

Murray Rankin chooses to share the block with provincial NDP counterpart

Victoria NDP member of parliament Murray Rankin is hosting an open house at his new office on Monday, April 8.

Rankin decided to close the constituency office maintained by former MP Denise Savoie at 970 Blanshard St. and set up shop closer to Victoria-Beacon Hill MLA Carole James on Fort Street.

“I felt it would be easier for people who might not want to make the trip to both locations or might not know where the old office was,” Rankin said.

The new constituency office is in the Mosaic building at 1057 Fort St.

The open house runs from 4 to 7 p.m.
