Protesters gathered in Ottawa on Tuesday to protest changes to Canada's medical marijuana regulations, which will prohibit users from growing their own cannabis. Instead, users must purchase their supply from commercial growers.
"Patients in Canada will continue to grow our own cannabis as long as our health and the Constitution dictate," said Alison Myrden, a medical marijuana user, on Tuesday. "Our government should take care of Canadians who need medical marijuana, not make us go to the courts."
