Monday (Nov. 20) was a joyous day for students and teachers at École Willows School as the new portables were officially complete and ready for classes.

The natural light poured in on the neat little rows of desk pods. The inviting space promised a new beginning for classes that had a rough start to the year. After multiple delays, the modular learning spaces are ready to provide the children with the learning environment they deserve.

“We made them to be great learning spaces that we’re going to be really proud of as a school district,” said SD61 Secretary-Treasurer Mark Walsh, when he was onsite in October.
