The Victoria SPCA is funded by the province to deal with animals in distress.
Any power given to Victoria Animal Control gives them more power to abuse their authority and our only recourse is to hire a lawyer.
Numerous animal groups have complained to the city to no avail. If they pass the dogs in car bylaw it will be even more abuses to owners without any recourse once again.
Very few incidences have been reported as the public is aware of the dangers.
Victoria is becoming a very dictatorial place to live and getting more outrageous bylaws without any public input, we are being run by a ship of fools.
