Re. Rebranding your arena (News, Oct. 4)
I personally am not in favour of corporate sponsors getting to have their name for an arena. Would that not see the arena name being changed every time the business no longer wishes to make the financial commitment? Give it a name that reflects the community it is in, such as Colwood arena. Or just leave it what everyone has come to know it as: Bear Mountain. If financial sponsorship is needed, dedicate an entire inside wall to whoever puts up the most money. Or it could end up being called Save On Place, with a ridiculous looking piece of whatever-it-is out front too.
