I eagerly anticipate the arrival of my Peninsula News Review every Wednesday and Friday. Trying not to spook our carrier, I’ll wait until she’s left the area before retrieving my paper to settle down to the latest juicy and sordid details about how our North Saanich council has managed to disagree ... again.
These scraps are always divided along the same philosophical lines. The latest argument about the semantics of “important” vs “significant” indicate to me these scraps have become personal. I blame all involved for letting this get out of hand. Who needs UFC when all I have to do is attend my council meeting?
