I agree Foundation Organics has squandered a unique opportunity to demonstrate they are able to operate their composting facility properly.
That is not the central issue, however. If farmers on the Peninsula want to do composting to improve their lands, they can do so. If they wish to establish a commercial composting facility they should adhere to the municipal bylaws, locate in areas zoned industrial and pay the appropriate taxes.
