While I do not deny that there may be safety problems for both deer and residents of Oak Bay, I must agree with several recent letter writers who pointed out that 25 fewer deer will make very little difference.
I also feel strongly that every citizen of Oak Bay should educate themselves on the clover net and bolt method of culling, which I believe has been approved by council. This method of killing the deer is inhumane and horrible to think about.
Personally I must believe there are other solutions, and I plan to do my own research and inform council of other options available to them.
