Who needs a vacation in February? Every time it snows we are all forced to have an unpaid holiday.
All kidding aside, I wonder what the economic cost is per day when the region is shut down due to lack of adequate snow clearing equipment. Surely the municipalities can afford to outfit their current vehicle fleet to double as snow plows. It just takes some imagination and a willingness to think outside the box. It is apparent, however, that that’s too much to expect from government.
