Keep the town clean

Most dog owners do clean up after their pets but to those who don’t I’d like to paraphrase Janet’s plea: “Keep the Town clean"

I would like to compliment Janet Wright on her letter in the March 7 News Review.

I would also like to add Sidney is in a similar situation. One has to be careful where one steps, even in the downtown core, but particularly on the waterfront walkway.

Sidney also supplies free waste bags but not only are they not always used, some people put the poop in the bag and then throw the bag into the bushes or elsewhere other than the waste basket. I have noticed that someone is doing just that in the little park running between First and Second at Oakville.

Most dog owners do clean up after their pets but to those who don’t I’d like to paraphrase Janet’s plea: “Keep the Town clean.”
