LETTER: Drunk driving laws too weak

The drinking and driving laws need to be more harsh in British Columbia.

The drinking and driving laws need to be more harsh in British Columbia.

People who get charged with drinking and driving for the first time have to pay a $200 fine which is not enough.

The price should be higher and their car should be impounded for more than three days. People need to learn the consequences, the law right now is too lenient towards people who get charged for the first time for drinking and driving.
