LETTER: Halloween display thrills neighbours

I want to thank Richard Graham and his family and friends who once again put on an amazing Halloween experience at his property on Palo Alto street.

Richard has been doing this for many years and his daughter told me that it takes several weeks to set up and prepare the homemade goodies which are offered free. Friends come from Vancouver to help with this task. Richard told me he doesn’t accept donations, as in his words “I don’t want any child to miss out because their parent can’t afford to give.”

Crowds turn up and the laughter and shrieks of surprise can be heard all around. There is even a firework display later in the evening. We are fortunate to have such a man as Richard Graham in Saanich, willing to offer pleasure to all comers. Thanks Richard
