I couldn’t agree more with Joscelyn Barnard’s assessment of the situation at North Saanich municipality.

Projects are sometimes run and approved with very little resident communication or input. Staff does not seem required to produce accountability to council and resident questions are ignored or squashed. It is said that staff runs the place and that has to change. They are, after all, the employees.

Hopefully the new council will be able to adjust the situation and I am sorry to lose a young, progressive councillor.
