Mayor Cross is a leader on the coast

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Association of Vancouver Island and Coastal Communities convention, as a Life Member of that organization.

One of the highlights for me was the re-election as President of Mayor Larry Cross, by acclamation.   The Chairman of the Nominating Committee in proclaiming the acclamation also paid tribute to the work and dedication of Mayor Cross.

In addition to the usual duties of the Mayor’s office, he is offering leadership for all coastal communities in many matters, including  the current concerns in dealing with B.C. Ferries.

Sidney can indeed be proud to have such an ambassador for the Town, who garners the respect of his peers in this fashion. Thank you Mayor Cross.
