No safe levels of radiation

Re: Wi-Fi to stay in schools despite health concerns (News, March 9)

I believe school trustees’ primary duty is to protect the children in their care and in view of recent scientific findings of harmful biological impact of cumulative, low-level, non-ionizing radiation on children – Bioinitiative Report (2007) – they should be making urgent plans to eliminate all wireless installations from the schools and replace them with land line or cable Internet.

There is no safe level of radiation, only what a society will tolerate.

Do we as a society value the convenience of our wireless technology over the right of our children to enjoy a safe and healthy environment?
