Oak Bay residents say no to apartment plan

Your story has a very narrow perspective on the reaction of the immediate residents

I do not speak for all the Clive Drive residents, but I can tell you that there is only one family who supports this project in its current form. The rest of the Clive Drive residents are vehemently opposed to this project.

Your story has a very narrow perspective on the reaction of the immediate residents, and has only consulted with the developer in this regard, which has resulted in the completely wrong perception of how our group feels about the project.

It is obscene what the developer is requesting by way of variances regarding the current allowable usage, in terms of building mass, set backs and parking.

Council has been duped into thinking that the local residents are in favour of this project, when in fact nothing could be further from the truth.
