PENINSULA letter: Great teacher

What a perfect picture and story on the front page on May 30.

What a perfect picture and story on the front page on May 30. You show and interview Marilyn Hodgson. If anyone is on the fence about the teachers’ position in the current contract negotiations, listen to Mrs. Hodgson. This fine woman is surely one of the best and most influential teachers a student could have. She certainly was for my son when he was in Grade 2. When she discusses the challenges teachers face these days she comes at it with a significant understanding of student and teachers’ needs. How do we get the government to learn from this teachable moment?
