Further to the recent letters in the PNR regarding the common sense of subdivisions, North Saanich residents might be interested to know that this is the fourth such subdivision in the southeast quadrant — all approved using similar logic: a family has two kids and therefore would like two lots.
Or: people don’t want large properties anymore; it’s a lot of work to look after a big property; people could use a bit of cash in their pockets; the property has gone to rack and ruin, and; it’s a terribly run-down place.
