Roundabout the numbers

I read with interest the statement from Constable Seutter that the “severity of crashes” has declined at the McTavish interchange compared to when it was an interchange. Can he or ICBC provide a comparison of the number of crashes pre and post this poorly designed roundabout? I believe this would be a more valid measurement of any improvement.

If the incidence of crashes is lower as well as the severity then I would happily revisit my opinion of what I consider to be a very poor design. As a former resident of Edmonton, I am quite familiar with roundabouts and how to navigate them.
