It is with a heavy heart that I learn of Tuberculosis being rampant again.
According to information from Results Canada there is an outbreak on our Canadian First Nations Reserves of this deadly, silent killer. I so hope that Health Canada and others will step up to solve the situation.
Tuberculosis was once thought to be a disease of the past, but with virulent new drug-resistant strains emerging faster than ever, TB is the second leading cause of death from an infectious disease on the planet.
We need to figure out how to stop this from spreading around the globe once again.
