I expect Oak Bay council will form another committee and their mandate will be to take a hard look at N. Johnson’s letter (Embarrassed too, April 9) about those who are embarrassed to live in our beautiful municipality.
This will be one of the few times that council will come back to us with a quick decision and a statement confirming that “living in Oak Bay is a wonderful experience.”
Of course, those of us who call Oak Bay home already know this.
In the meantime, I’d like to remind the writer that you have a choice.
Our streets run in both directions and if you are not happy here, we’ll raise the curtain and wave good by.
