Time to re-write the script of a bad play

The ongoing behaviour of Councilors Daly, Browne, Mearns and McBride continues to be breathtaking

Re: Shenanigans by North Saanich councillors.

The ongoing behaviour of Councilors Daly, Browne, Mearns and McBride continues to be breathtaking.

I have been following their shenanigans since the last election and find it quite staggering that my community was so thoroughly hoodwinked, that they actually elected them.

These four appear to have no respect for council process, for other elected councilors who do not share their agenda or for North Saanich staff, all of which I believe points to a total disrespect for the community.

Attending council meetings is like witnessing a public execution of democracy, especially when some councillors impetuously march out of meetings, shutting down council and municipal business as a result.

I feel like I am sitting in the audience, having paid a big price to get in, watching a very bad Broadway play that should close.

My only solution to this metaphorical example is to bank on the results of the next municipal election, one that I hope will toss out these four bad actors and re-write the script.
