I wonder if anyone else is bothered by the frequent excessive vehicle noise in downtown Langford?
With the many advances in vehicle technology have come concurrent advances in muffler systems. Yet there continues to be those who must either be deaf or suffer some further deficiency that drives them to make as much vehicle noise as possible. Noise so loud it triggers car alarms and rattles windows.
One can only assume these people suffered childhood neglect so serious that they now must turn to their motorcycles and cars to garner attention.
Included in that group of attention seekers are those with auto sound systems that render impossible any conversation within a block of their vehicles.
The argument that “noise saves lives” is vacuous at best and nothing more than a convenience to its proponents.
To all of them: keep your music (if that’s what it is) inside your own car and get a muffler.
