I share Mark Johansson’s concern about horses that seem to have little or no grazing and stand in the same small enclosure, year upon year. I have been saddened by two such horses on a property that lies adjacent to West Saanich Road in North Saanich and I have no idea how I can find out if they are indeed being cared for better than I think they are.
In no way do they appear neglected but what should we do? Any suggestions?
