Victoria HarbourCats appoint brain of Prince George baseball as new business head

Victoria HarbourCats president and co-owner John McLean introduced Jim Swanson as the team’s new vice president and general Manager. Swanson, of Prince George, fills the vacancy left by West Coast baseball League Executive of the Year Holly Jones. Swanson will represent at the WCL general manager meetings in Salem, Ore. today.

He once played hockey for the Flin Flon Bombers.

The HarbourCats 2014 home schedule begins June 10 at Royal Athletic Park.
