Cross-country skier Amelia Wells of Victoria grabbed the silver medal at the Teck B.C. Midget Championships in the 300-metre sprint event at Larch Hills in Salmon Arm, Feb. 8-9.

She skis with the Strathcona Nordics Devo race team based at Mount Washington’s Paradise Meadows.
