Grey Cup to visit Mount Doug secondary, Oak Bay Safeway and Bear Mountain Arena

Canadian football's biggest trophy comes to Saanich, Oak Bay and Colwood

The Grey Cup will continue its provincial tour through the South Island on Monday (Jan. 30) with a well deserved stop at Mount Douglas secondary.

Members of the B.C. football champion Mount Doug Rams will be on hand to welcome the trophy and its escorts – B.C. Lions players Paul McCallum and Travis Lulay – from 2 to 3 p.m.

A late schedule change is bringing the Grey Cup to the Oak Bay Safeway for a viewing from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., 1950 Foul Bay Road.

Colwood will host the cup’s last stop on Monday at the Kinsmen Fieldhouse (1767 Island Highway) in the parking lot of Bear Mountain Arena, below Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre, for 7:30 p.m.
