Claremont's Shannon Elder is fouled by Riverside's Amy Nadasdi in game one of the AAA girls basketball provincials at Capilano University in North Vancouver on Thursday. Elder scored seven points as the fourth-ranked Spartans won 77-32 over Riverside.

Shalie Dheenshaw scored 14 points and added 14 rebounds as the Claremont Spartans doubled the Terry Fox Ravens 77-32 in the opening round of the High School AAA Girls Provincial Basketball Championships on Wednesday.

Fourth-ranked Claremeont face sixth ranked Argyle in quarterfinals tonight at 8:45 p.m.

The tournament is taking place at Capilano University in North Vancouver.
