Jordie Hughes returns for his fourth season, one of the few original players as the Victoria Highlanders men's soccer team opens the 2013 Professional Development League season on Saturday.
Kickoff versus the Kitsap Pumas is 5 p.m. at Royal Athletic Park.
Hughes has played 48 games as a Highlander and has started 45 of those, with 20 goals and nine assists in that span.
Kitsap won the 2011 PDL championship.
