Lambrick Park graduate Kelsey Anonsen is the Mid-American Conference player of the week after she won four NCAA tennis matches in one weekend.
A third-year athlete at the University of Toledo, Anonsen won two singles matches and two doubles matches with partner Alex Cristello against Wright State on Feb. 11 and Detroit Mercy on Feb. 13.
The award is Anonsen’s first and the first by a Toledo player this season.
The Mid-American is a Division 1 conference member of the NCAA, with nine schools in Ohio and Michigan, and three more in Illinois, Indiana and New York.
