Matt Siddall blasted this one-timer past Utah Grizzlies' goalie J.P. Lamoureux to tie the game 2-2 on Wednesday night. The Salmon Kings scored in overtime to win 3-2 and take a 3-0 series lead.

On a day when the WHL's return to Victoria took precedence in the city, the Victoria Salmon Kings made a statement of their own taking a three game playoff lead over the Utah Grizzlies.

The Kings completed a comeback from being down 2-0 to win 3-2 in overtime in heroic fashion.

Victoria has a chance to sweep the Grizzlies in Game 4 of the best-of-seven Western Conference semifinal, 7:05 p.m. Friday at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Josh Aspenlind scored the winner just 11 seconds into overtime. Right off the opening faceoff Adam Taylor chipped the puck off the boards to send Josh Aspenlind in on a 2-on-1 break.

Aspenlind snapped a quick shot from the left circle that went top corner over the glove of J.P. Lamoureux.

Down 2-0 with one minute remaining in the second period, Milan Gajic sent Kiel McLeod in on a breakaway and McLeod converted. Matt Siddall tied the game on a third-period powerplay with a one-timer from Ryan Turek.
