Skilled Victoria Royals centre Dante Hannoun showed he’s more than just a hockey player on Monday.

The 20-year-old has an aptitude for soccer, and so do his teammates, evident in their team video of the ‘header challenge.’ Hannoun posted it to Twitter at about noon on Monday (Nov. 26) to the immediate delight of the internet. According to the Royals’ Twitter, the round-the-world feat was on the first try (we’ll take their word for it). A slight variation of the header challenge started about three years ago with pro soccer teams.

The jury is out as to whether it is an improvement from the Royal’s 2013 Harlem Shake featuring the grace of current Indy Fuel forward Logan Nelson.

The Royals dropped their weekend road games to the Kelowna Rockets and Vancouver Giants but are home to host the Saskatoon Blades on Wednesday, 7 p.m. at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
