The Westshore Wolves (11-11-7) took a bite out of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League’s North division leaders, winning 5-2 over the Nanaimo Buccaneers (17-8-2) last Thursday.

Tonight (Dec. 6) the Saanich Braves host the Oceanside Generals, 6:30 p.m. at Pearkes Arena.

Kings host memorial tourney

The Racquet Club Kings host the annual Rick Lapointe Memorial Bantam AAA Showcase 12-team tournament this weekend. The Juan de Fuca Grizzlies are the other Victoria team entered. The final is Sunday 1 p.m. at the Ian Stewart Complex.
