Women roller derby league recruiting ‘fresh meat’

Eves of Destruction preparing for upcoming summer season

The Eves of Destruction Roller Derby League is holding a Raw Meat Information Session for would-be roller derby skaters on Monday, June 10 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser St.

Anyone who’s always wanted to get involved in roller derby or been even a little curious is encouraged to come out and get more information on the sport. Experienced players will be on hand to answer questions and give a description of what the sport is all about.

This meeting is an information session only, no skating is required. For more information, visit the Eves of Destruction Facebook page or the league website at evesofdestructionrollerderby.com. Can’t make it to this info session? Send an email to freshmeat@evesofdestruction.ca and they’ll get you in the loop.
