Lucy Miller gets ready to take part in the Kids Ride during the Saanich Cycling Festival held Sunday near Municipal Hall. The event was part of Earth Day (April 22) festivities and encouraged residents to learn more about the local cycling network. Participating riders could collect stamps at seven celebration stations in entering a prize competition. The afternoon also featured live music, several booths for bike-friendly causes, and other forms of entertainment. Wolf Depner/News Staff
