Brrr….! While it might be icy cold out there right now, thankfully it won’t last forever. Boat show season is officially on the horizon, with the boating season itself not far behind.
“We’re very fortunate to live on Vancouver Island and only have to deal with the worst of winter for a few weeks out of the year. In a way, these off-season months are a blessing in disguise as they encourage us to make sure our vessels are getting the TLC they deserve,” says JD Dawson, Manager at Ina Marine in the West Shore.

Boater’s can take advantage of Ina Marine’s reduced winter labour rates till the end of January, but note that services must be booked before the end of the month for the offer to be valid.
“Along with our reduced winter service rates, the entire Ina Marine team is eagerly preparing for our local boat show in April and keeping close tabs on what’s new at the big annual boat show across the water in Vancouver,” Dawson says.
The Vancouver Boat Show is Western Canada’s largest boat show and taking place Jan. 31 through Feb. 4. But if you’re not keen on making the journey across the water, the Victoria Outdoor Adventure Show in April is a great local alternative.
“While we won’t be at the Vancouver show this year, we’re still excited to offer boat show pricing on all of our outboards, as well as an extra two-year warranty above the standard three-year warranty for free!” Dawson says.
“We will be at the Victoria Outdoor Adventure show in April though and we’re excited to releasing more details on that event in the coming months.”
