Breakfast helps Scout camp

A breakfast fundraiser will ensure Island youth continue to learn, grow and have fun at camp.

Proceeds from the fifth annual corporate breakfast will support Scouts Canada’s Camp Barnard, a residential and wilderness camp near Sooke.

The event will feature keynote speaker Viking Air president and CEO David Curtis on May 17 at the Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour Hotel, 728 Humboldt St.

Doors open at 7 a.m. Breakfast follows from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Tickets are $100 for an individual seat, $800 for a table of eight and $1,000 for a table of 10.
