Christ Church Cathedral hosting Capriccio Vocal Ensemble for 2 p.m. concert

The music of Eleanor Daley, Morten Lauridsen, Arvo Part and others will be featured in this Saturday’s (Nov. 11) In Remembrance concert by the CapriCCio Vocal Ensemble at Christ Church Cathedral.

Special guest artists include trumpeter Stevan Paranosic, organist Robert Dukarm and pianist Jane Edler-Davis.

The performance will include traditional observances for the Battle of Vimy Ridge centenary.

The concert starts at 2 p.m. Veterans and children 12-under get in free, otherwise tickets range from $10 to $25 depending on age.

Tickets are available at the church (Quadra Street at Rockland Avenue), at Munro’s or Ivy’s book stores, Long and McQuade Music and online at capriccio.ca. For more information call 250-896-9195.
