Culinaire showcases local chefs and restaurants

Tickets are now on sale for the 6th annual Culinaire, Victoria's Premier Food Tasting Experience.

Savour the most delicious dishes and finest alcoholic beverages from the Island’s best at an upcoming event.

The 6th annual Culinaire, Victoria’s Premier Food Tasting Experience will be held on March 19, 2015 at Crystal Gardens. Tickets for the event, featuring over 60 unique restaurants and merchants, are on sale now.

Local businesses involved include Lure, Zambris, Fairmont Empress, Muse Winery and Toque Catering among many others.

“The food scene in Victoria and the Cowichan Valley is thriving and we are fortunate to have these experts of their craft display their talents at Culinaire for all to enjoy,” said event organizer Scott Gurney.

In five years, this event has donated 13 scholarships and bursaries to the culinary arts program at Camosun College, and has also contributed funding to the B.C. Hospitality Foundation.

Tickets to Culinaire are $49.75 plus tax and are available at selectyourtickets.com, by phone at 250-220-7777 or at the box office located at 1925 Blanshard St.

Guests will have the option of two sittings, one from 5:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and the second at 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Admission includes 10 tasting tickets, with additional tickets available for $1 each. Tickets are expected to sell out early.
