Culture Days events on tap around Capital Region

National celebration of arts and culture features events from coast to coast

From a mass cultural event in Centennial Square to a performing arts school carnival in Oak Bay, to an open house at CBC Victoria, Culture Days has plenty of choices.

The weekend-long national celebration of arts and culture sees arts organizations, cultural groups, individual artists, libraries, museums, festivals and municipalities offering hands-on and behind-the-scenes activities exploring music, dance, visual arts, film, history, theatre, literature and much more.

The Centennial Square event happens from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. both Saturday (Oct. 1) and Sunday and includes ballroom dance lessons, interactive theatre skits, free Zumba fitness classes and a variety of visual arts activities for all ages.
