Kaleidoscope production worth sneezing about

Kaleidoscope Theatre’s mini family series kicks off with The Big Sneeze, Saturday (Feb. 5) at 2 p.m.

It’s the tale of a girl who is trying her best to be invisible at school, but gets noticed when she lets loose with a humongous sneeze in the middle of the gym class. The sneeze takes on a life of its own and the story runs from there.

The Axis Theatre play at the McPherson Playhouse is the first of four in the series. It also includes Vancouver Opera’s Cinderella (Feb. 20), Dufflebag Theatre’s Rumpelstiltskin (March 27) and Canadiana Musical Theatre Co.’s The Birth of the C.P.R. (April 10).

Discounted tickets for the entire series, as well as single tickets, are available at the McPherson box office in Centennial Square or by phone at 250-386-6121.
