Musical variety on tap at UVic

The University of Victoria’s school of music presents the Lafayette String Quartet, accompanied by pianist Harold Krebs, in concert tomorrow (Feb. 5) at 8 p.m. in the Philip T. Young Recital Hall.

They’ll perform works by Haydn, Sculthorpe and Brahms.

On Sunday, Robert Holliston, pianist and founding director of the Victoria Conservatory of Music’s opera studio, offers his free Inside Opera talk.

This weekend he’ll host an in-depth presentation and discussion of La Boheme, to be staged later this month by Pacific Opera Victoria.
