The Queen of New Westminster will be delayed for approximately 60 minutes due to having to find a replacement staff member for the vessel, according to a statement on Twitter.

This delay will affect all passengers on the 8 a.m. sailing and has been the second delay for BC ferries this morning, as the 7:45 a.m. sailing of the Coastal Celebration was also delayed for 60 minutes this morning.

The Queen of New Westminister is currently at total capacity, with the Coastal Celebration at 50 per cent of the estimated space available.
