Power restored after 6,500 clients lost hydro in Victoria, Oak Bay

Several swatches of Victoria and Oak Bay were without power for nearly an hour Tuesday.

BC Hydro showed outages to nearly 6,500 customers shortly before 1 p.m. April 9.

The power company listed a substation fault as one cause while others were dubbed “under investigation.”

Crews restored power to most of the region by 1:45 p.m.
