Caddy Bay rings in Christmas season

Hundreds gather in Caddy Bay for annual celebration

Hundreds braved cold temperatures to hear several heart-warming Christmas tunes during Sunday’s Caroling in the Village, Cadboro Bay Village’s annual outdoor holiday music and sing-along event.

Organized by the Cadboro Bay Village Business Association, the event featured performances from the Mount Douglas Secondary School’s Jazz Band and Choir, and Louise Rose joined by members of various choirs, including the Open Door Choir at Our Place and Victoria Good News Choir.

Various holiday treats, including hot cider and eggnog, were available by donation. Organizers also raffled off several gift baskets, as well as a dozen frozen turkeys Pepper’s.

Proceeds raised split between Our Place Society and the Mount Douglas music program.
